IKR. Why we still haven't had a Resistance HD Collection and a Ratchet & Clank HD Collection for the PS4 & PS5 is beyond me.

Good luck trying to convince people to buy PlayStation consoles going forward, Sony.
A 10-year timeframe between the release of a game on the PS and the PC would entice people to get a PlayStation, not a 2-year timeframe. 2 years is nothing at all with all the games that come out all the time.

All videogame consoles have always had a catalog of games that's part of the product, cause it's pretty much the only thing these devices do, play games, and the PS...

I don't get it, what's the point of that when you own GT7? The email I received from SIE had me believe it would be a throwback to the 1st GT games on the PS1, with circuits from those games, like Special Stage Route Clubman or Tokyo R246, I didn't know what to expect, these circuits added to GT7, or the first 2 games remastered maybe? But I didn't expect that thing.
Looks more like a playable ad for GT7 to me *shrugs*

Great. Now let them remake... Silent Hill 1 :p

There shouldn't be a single ad on either the PS or XB since users bought the damn things with their hard-earned money and pay subscription fees to play online on top of that.

At this point investing even twice or thrice the price of a PS5 Pro in a PC is a better choice than buying a PS5 Pro or any other console. Just one example: you have the embarrassment of the choice when it comes to web browsers on PC, when you don't get so much as 1 on the PS5, Pro or not!

$ony have been in a trend these last years of porting the few PS5 "exclusives" to PC usually about 2 years after their inception on their console. It's common knowledge that getting just about anything you want on PC for free is a breeze. The fact that physical games have stopped existing on PC becomes a moot point then: they sell you thin air, you pay them with thin air. The risk of the HDD breaking down and of you losing all your digital library is very real, but it seems SSD ...

"A great product", yeah right. A great product with a UI that looks like some kind of beta test of the PS4 UI, with some features that were there on the previous systems and are now missing (web browser, dynamic themes...). Plus, unlike the PS4 Pro, the mid-gen redesign is actually worse aesthetics-wise than the base model this time. The PS5 Pro is ugly!

I'm definitely skipping this gen now. Depending on what the PS6 is like, it's possible I may have boug...

What? It's cheap man, 639,24 € compared to the price over here in Europe. Check out my post above.

700 US$, 800 € , are you people at $ony out of your freakin' mind or what?
Buy a PC everyone. Just buy a PC and get the (few) PS exclusives for free only 2 years after their release on the PS5.

Edit: if $ony didn't take us european consumers for ca$h cow$ and treated the Americans like they treat us, the Americans would have to pay 881,98 US$ for the PS5 Pro!!!
If we paid it in Europe the same price as the Americans will (?), it should cost us 634,...

No they don't. Why should they? The PS5's UI uses like 10% of the screen space at most. Plenty of room to display a dynamic theme.

I'm pretty sure the people in charge of the PS5's UI have bugged at the thought of having dynamic themes simply because of their decision to have some music play on a wallpaper when selecting a game icon on the PS5 UI... like, none of them could find the space in their cranial recesses to let in the idea of, dunno, giving the us...

And they get the games for free, since it's so easy to get pretty much anything you want for free on that platform. But the folks at Sony are apparently too damn dumb to comprehend this.

Oh and, more important yet: moddable games!

Thankfully the different SIE regions operate largely in an independent manner, so SIEA's decision to release some US-made games like Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima or God of War on PC still hasn't made a dent in SIEJ's decision to keep their japanese games like Bloodborne, the Last Guardian, or Gran Turismo 7 on Playstation, or SIEE's decision to keep EU-made games like Killzone Shadow Fall, Dreams, or Sackboy A Big Adventure on PS.

But that was on the PS4. No...

Not even 2 years after its release on PS4 & PS5. Looks like Sony have come up with a new idea yet again to shoot themselves in the foot: release some of their biggest PS exclusives on PC in a timeframe as short as possible, effectively giving gamers one less reason to buy a Playstation.

We're getting there guys, with Microsoft and Sony's combined efforts, consoles could very well be a thing of the past in a short to mid-term future.

IKR. The PS5's UI with its palette of dark colors and its creepy and depressing "music", if ya wanna call it that, reminds me sometimes of some of the poorest choices sony made in the past, like with this PS3 commercial https://www.youtube.com/wat...

For a gaming console, that UI and its shortcomings sure as hell doesn't look all that fun.
Plus, I said it before and I'...

Way better since GT Sports, pretty much as good as what the competition does, but still miles behind reality.

The local racing event where I live has old jalopies from the beginning of the previous century duke it out, when they're done they sometimes speed through the street down from where I am, and they make the window panes rumble like they're about to shatter... And don't get me started about Le Mans. By many accounts when you get there you can feel your wh...

Selling their consoles? Really? Radical much? I don't get that train of thought, it's not like, if MS go third-party, partially or even completely, Xbox users will suddenly find themselves in a position where they can't buy games for their console anymore. Plus they have a controller and UI that are vastly different to what's on PlayStation, and maybe a better one when it comes to the latter at that...

Not to mention that if MS were leaving the hardware mark...
